The Little Mermaid opens May 24

Little Mermaid Rehearsal

The Little Mermaid, presented by the Three Hills Arts Academy, opens at Parable Place May 24. It will have 7 pm performances on May 24, 25, 26, 27 (Wednesday to Saturday) and 2 pm shows on Sat. and Sunday (27 & 28) and repeat the same schedule for May 31 to June 4. Note that there is a discount price for the Wednesday May 24 and Thursday May 25 shows.
There are 28 actors in this year’s production with some doing multiple roles. Ten new players are introduced to the stage. Those who have been taking in previous shows will recognize the veterans, some of which are moving up to leading positions. Those familiar with the story may readily visualize what they might expect when they know that the following actors will be playing these roles:
Alyssa Adkins is Ariel and Max Harback is Prince Eric. Luke Reinhardt is King Triton and Andi Miller is Ursula. Daryl Wilson is Sebastian and Jeremiah Church is Flounder. Floyd Cotton takes on a couple of “cameo” roles.
Sheila Adkins is the Director with a whole host of assistants that are essential to the very successful production.
The Little Mermaid is a tale written in 1837 by Hans Christian Andersen and since then popularized as a Disney movie and a musical stage production.
