Blue Bronna Fundraiser raises $31,000

Ann Brown of Three Hills said it, Cyril Healey and Justin of Calgary said it, and Ivor from Airdrie readily agreed: deeply moving spiritual things happen in the Rocky Mountains when you hook up with Blue Bronna Wilderness Camp (BBWC).
This mix of seniors and young people with their digital and in-person testimonies were pivotal to the success of last weekend's annual BBWC Community Center fundraiser.
BBWC, located in the southwest corner of the province and directed by Cyril Healey, runs a bare-essentials Christian wilderness experience in tenting, river activities, rock climbing, and horseback activities. Mrs. Brown, Justin, and Ivor, were among the hundreds of camp visitors last year who experienced God's magnificent creation up close and personally.
The annual fundraiser, in addition to accounts of how the camp's facilities have been improved, need more work, and continue to be essential to the ministry of impacting and changing lives, saw a silent auction and MP Kevin Sorenson's live auction bring in $31,000 before expenses.
