Linden-Acme Growing Project raises over $150,000

Car line up

The Linden-Acme Growing Project, once again held at the C.C. Toews Farm, was again a great success. A total of 2935 metric tonnes of barley silage, sold at $38.00 per tonne, for a total of $111,530. The drive-through supper was met with overwhelming support; so much that some people had to be turned away at the end of the evening. 530 dinners were served. This year’s total from cash donations was $43,560.

In the past 16 years the project has been able to contribute a total of $1,689,188 to world hunger. Along with government matching, this is a substantial contribution.

This project is based on volunteers and donations, and organizers cannot thank each of you enough for your part. Thank you to each one who participated to further this worthwhile project for 2020.
