NOTICE FROM PUBLIC WORKS – Please avoid pouring grease down your drain. Once grease cools, it solidifies and acts as a trap for gunk and debris. Over time, grease can clog pipes or slow down your drain. You can dispose of grease in a designated can or jar and allow it to solidify in the container instead of down the drain. Cooking oil should also never be poured down your drain, once cooled the oil can be wiped up in a paper towel or poured into an old container and disposed of once full.
