DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Under the general direction of the CAO, the Director of Operations is responsible for providing leadership and direction for the planning, coordinating and supervision of activities in the Town’s Operations Department including; public works, recreation facilities, water and sewer, solid waste management services, roads, fleet maintenance, recycling, sidewalks, storm sewers and drainage.
Preferred Qualifications:  Management experience and a good understanding of engineering would be an asset.  Work experience in a municipal setting with proven organizational, leadership, strong interpersonal, good communication and public-relation skills.

TAX INSTALLMENT PLAN
If you currently participate in the TIPS program, post-dated cheques are due for January – June and must be dropped off at the office by the end of January 2015.
If wishing to enter into the TIPS program your tax account must have had a 0 balance at December 31st, 2014 and 6 post-dated monthly cheques until June 2015. The amount of these is based on your 2014 taxes for the first 6 months and when your tax notice is received (in May or June) 6 more post-dated cheques are required based on the remainder of your taxes due.
