2014 VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR NOMINATIONS
The Town of Trochu is now accepting nominations for 2014 Volunteer of the Year. Nomination must be in writing and signed; must be submitted by someone other than a close family member, and must be a resident of Trochu or area who has not previously received this award.
Deadline for submissions is April 30, 2015

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

TROCHU ARBORETUM AND GARDENS
Trochu Arboretum and Gardens is hiring a summer student to assist the head gardener with all aspects of maintaining the Arboretum. Successful applicants must have a valid drivers license and be returning to post-secondary school in the fall. Job runs from May 1 to Aug 31. Position depends on acceptance of the Canada Summer Jobs grant.

TOWN OF TROCHU
The Town of Trochu is now accepting resumes for summer student employees. Main duties will be mowing and weed whipping. Successful applicants must have a valid drivers license. Job runs from May 1 to August 31 and depends on funding from the Canada Summer Jobs grant.

TROCHU AND DISTRICT MUSEUM
Trochu and District Museum requires an assistant to the curator for the 2015 season (May thru August). Position is open to students (high school or post-secondary) who are returning to school in September. Position is conditional on the approval of our Canada Summer Jobs application.
