Trochu Arboretum and Gardens is hiring a Summer Student to assist The Head Gardener with all aspects of maintaining The Arboretum. Successful applicants must have a valid Driver’s License and be returning to Post Secondary School in the fall.  Job runs from May 1 to Aug 31.

Position Depends On Acceptance of the Canada Summer Jobs Grant.

SIDEWALK CLEARING

Reminder to all residents and business owners that sidewalks are to be cleared within 48 hours of a snowfall. Please make arrangements to have your sidewalks taken care of if you will be away.


Dog License Renewal Time

In compliance with Bylaw 1997-06 Dog Licenses must be renewed every year  $15 for spayed/neutered dogs and $25 for other

When paying online please ensure the correct account number is used. Account numbers correspond to civic address and are listed on the top and bottom of utility bills.


BUSINESS LICENSES NO LONGER REQUIRED

The Town of Trochu has resolved to make Trochu a “business friendly community” in 2016. Licenses are no longer required, but should you need one for business verification please contact us and we will print one for you free of charge.
