Steve Bell performs at Parable Place

Steve Bell, two-time JUNO Award winner, presented a concert to a full house, in Prairie’s Parable Place, on Sunday, April 9.

His most recent album, “Where the Good Way Lies” was one of the albums nominated this year as the Contemporary Christian/Gospel Album of the Year.

Historical Society event raises $12,000

When the sun set in the west and the dust settled at the Three Hills Community Centre, the Kneehill Historical Society’s western-themed spring supper had raised $12,000 after expenses.

St. Mary’s Health Care Centre Fundraiser raises $23,000

The annual St. Mary’s Health Care Centre Fundraiser, this year under the theme of Jeans and Jewels, had a full house with all 250 seats sold. The event raised about $23,000.

Jumping for health

On February 17, 2017, all Carbon School students participated in Jump Rope for Heart as a part of their Team Challenge Day. Students were encouraged to gather pledges prior to the date of the activity. A lofty goal of $2000.00 was set for the insentive. Carbon School raised an amazing $2,253.25.
