Christmas Bells Are Ringing

The Three Hills Arts Academy (THAA) presented the annual community Christmas Music Program at the Bethel Evangelical Missionary Church on Saturday, November 26 and Sunday, November 27.
Featuring the JuBELLation Ensemble, Strings, Community Choir and Flute, the program presented a variety of stylings offered in 20 pieces, some of which combined the groups and some with solo performances.

The Annual Village of Carbon Library Christmas Craft Market was held last Saturday at the Carbon Community Hall. 31 vendors displayed their goodies including hand-crafted decorations, hand-made quilts, six Canadian authors were in attendance, along with good food and even pictures with Santa. Money raised goes to purchasing books and DVD’s for the library.

The JuBellation Ringers, in preparation for the Community Musical Program “Christmas Bells Are Ringing”, have been spending hours at the Knox United Church going through the favourites of the season. The group will be joined with an Instrumental Ensemble, and Community Choir and suitable Christmas narration for two performances. Knox United Church celebrates 50th Anniversary

On Sunday, November 20, 2016 Knox United Church, in Three Hills, was filled with congregants celebrating 50 years in their present building and 103 years in the community.
