Sarah Richardson said goodbye to a full head of hair on Saturday, August 21st, when she shaved her head, and donated her hair to Locks of Love. Taralee Gall, master stylist from Cinamons Hair International had the honour of shaving it all off. This took place during the multi-family garage sale, held at the Three Hills School parking lot, that Sarah organized in support of the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation.

The Saturday Flea Market in Three Hills is taking shape. Vendors lined the sidewalk at the Catholic Church parking lot and singer/songwriter Paula Spurr entertained. The countdown is on and the Wild Pink Yonder "Ride for the Cure" is beginning to take hold. A drive up Arena Avenue in Trochu shows community support in a pink truck decked out with a pink cowboy hat next to a sign promoting their Thursday evening Family Dance and Silent Auction.
