Acme held its first Farmers Market at the curling rink during its Centennial Celebrations, but it doesn't stop there.
The Acme Community Angels have organized the Farmers Market to be held every 2nd and 4th Wednesday throughout July and August (July 14/28, Aug 11/25) in the Acme Curling Rink, through the south door entrance.
Vendors are now scheduled to bring you fresh fruit, local produce, baking, eggs, bison meat, homemade jewelry, tupperware, and hand painted glass items.

Phil Callaway Invitational raises $25,000

 

On June 16, the rain held back just long enough for golfers to enjoy the first ever Phil Callaway Invitational golf tournament. The purpose was to raise money to renovate dorm rooms at Prairie, and $25,000 came in, thanks to the generosity of local businesses, golfers, and premiere sponsor, Steven C. Snyder.

Three Hills and area residents had the opportunity to step back in time Saturday, June 19 at the Kneehill Museum Demonstration Day. There were demonstrations on threshing, blacksmithing, rope making, sheep shearing, horse shoeing and more. There was music and song and fresh buns with hand churned butter and there were Boom Town Tales by Historical Characters.
