Three Hills raises over $8,500 for Wild Pink Yonder
Three Hills Wild Pink Yonder planners presented event co-ordinators Jane and Rusty Hurl (wearing cowboy hats) with a cheque for $8,528.82. Three Hills was second, only, to Trochu in fundraising efforts. According to Jane and Rusty, Three Hills looked amazing in pink, but Trochu's amazing fundraising of over $27,000 gave them the bragging rights. Death by Chocolate a smashing success
During three warm mid-October evenings, some 150 people experienced a local night out on the town with engaging, hilarious community theatre, amazing desserts, and great service. As part of the Three Hills Arts Academy's fundraiser Death By Chocolate, over 20 local actors, stage crew and other volunteers crafted an excellent performance of Joseph Kesselring's comedy Arsenic and Old Lace.

A group of Junior High students from Prairie Christian Academy and the Three Hills School, who gather on Wednesday nights at Mount Olive Church for Youth Group, did a fun night called "Rake and Run" - which gets them into groups to rake lawns, running from house to house. It's a great way to serve and love the community, because lets face it, who likes to rake their lawn?
