Three Hills packed for Summer Celebration

 

It was a huge weekend for Three Hills as they celebrated their annual Summer Celebration.
The Three Hills Recreation Park was bursting at the seams as about 100 recreational vehicles arrived to house weekend ball players, Provincial soccer fans and more.

Linden Fire & Rescue to hold Annual Fundraising Breakfast
Linden & District Fire & Rescue held a practice burn last Tuesday evening, June 29. A building near Main Street, behind the firehall was needing to be demolished and the firemen agreed to burn it as part of their practice regimen. Miles of Smiles

Rinaldo's walk/run was held in Irricana on June 6th to raise money for the "Smile Train" organization. The Smile Train organization affords children in developing countries who can't afford a cleft lip repair surgery the opportunity to have their lips repaired. This is a life changing surgery for children. A complete surgery cost is $250. This cause is near and dear to Rinaldo's heart, as he was born with a cleft lip and palette and was fortunate to have his lip repaired at the age of five mont

Acme held its first Farmers Market at the curling rink during its Centennial Celebrations, but it doesn't stop there.
The Acme Community Angels have organized the Farmers Market to be held every 2nd and 4th Wednesday throughout July and August (July 14/28, Aug 11/25) in the Acme Curling Rink, through the south door entrance.
Vendors are now scheduled to bring you fresh fruit, local produce, baking, eggs, bison meat, homemade jewelry, tupperware, and hand painted glass items.
