Gray reunion to reconnect families, in Three Hills, this Canada Day

The Gray Family (some spell it Grey), trace their Canadian beginnings to Scottish brothers Robert and William Gray who settled in Canada in 1882 (Robert) and 1888 (William) and were employed by the Hudson Bay Company.

Although both brothers began families, they lost touch with each other and seemed to have gone their separate ways.

Three Hills School offering Summer Camps

Three Hills School is offering four camps this summer.

The first is a Multi-Sport Camp for the really young people ages four to eight and will go from July 5-7. Kevin Wiens, PCA teacher and hockey and soccer coach, will be the head coach for this.

July 17-19 will see two camps being run concurrently. A Robotics Camp will have Adam Baxter as the instructor. He is the head of the Tech Department at the Wheatland Crossings School.

Beiseker celebrates 99th Lions Country Fair

It was a cold and windy start to the 99th Beiseker Lions Country Fair on Saturday, June 10, 2017. A breakfast sponsored by Luff Industries and Louis Dreyfus had all the proceeds donated to STARS.

Linden celebrates Canada 150 in fine style

Wow! Linden & District Agricultural Society and the many volunteers had a fabulous and fun-filled Linden Sports Day. Way to celebrate Canada’s birthday.
