Taking Care of Business

Trochu Valley School & Junior Achievement (JA) joined forces this February to offer 30 Grade 10 students the opportunity to operate 2 business ventures.  Vice-principal Debbie Barkman took the challenge of splitting the students into two separate business ventures.  Tuff Enuff sold custom first aid kits and Fat Jay's offered a full concession at the school.  Both business ventures were a success due to the hard work of the students and the support of the communities at large.    JA Coordinator – Lorie Penner would like to acknowledge the Town of Trochu and local businesses for their support with this program.  Trochu School has signed up for another "business venture" starting February 2011.  Anyone interested in volunteering 8-10 hours of their time & energy can call Lorie Penner 403-443-8446.
