Tools for School, helps build a stronger future

With the end of August quickly approaching, many parents are preparing for the start of school.  Binders, scissors, glue and pencils are just a few of the many items needed by students in an effort to promote their academic success. With that success is a price tag, and unfortunately the price of school supplies can be a dreaded thought when faced with expenses that strain an all ready tight budget.
In an effort to make back to school more bearable, the Kneehill Tools for School program is once again in operation throughout the County of Kneehill. This program is made possible by the support of Kneehill Regional Family and Community Support Services and the Kneehill Community Resource Program.
Donations can be made at any of the following locations: Acme Village Office, Carbon Village Office, Carbon Grocery, Linden Village Office, Three Hills IDA, Trochu Neighbourhood Place or Balkwill's Pharmacy. Each location has a drop off box available for supplies.  Items that are on the "most wanted" list include calculators, scissors, binders, glue sticks and much more.
Cash donations can also be made to the Tools for School program.  Containers for cash donations have also been left at store drop off locations for smaller donations.  Please contact Kneehill Regional FCSS at 403-443-3800 if you would like to make a donation.
Your assistance matters.  Help kids build a stronger future. Support the Tools for School program and make a donation today!
