RCMP to focus on Impaired Driving during the Holidays

In the month of November the Three Hills RCMP had 151 calls for service. Detachment had 18 prisoners for the month and 78 charges laid for various offences.
Files of note was a rash of copper thefts in the area.  Investigation resulted in a group believed to be responsible who reside out of the detachment area.  Two males from this group were arrested on unrelated thefts that did not occur in Three Hills and charged with multiple offences.  One male was released on a promise to appear and the second male was remanded in custody. Investigation is continuing on the copper thefts and anyone with information please contact the Three Hills RCMP.
The focus for the Alberta RCMP during the month of December is impaired driving. Alberta RCMP members will be active in hunting for impaired drivers by conducting check stops and mobile patrols. Three Hills RCMP is requesting the public to make good choices during the holiday season surrounding drinking alcohol and driving a motor vehicle.
