ATCO supports Village School Project

ATCO Village School

ATCO Power Line Technician Team Lead John Dorn presented Rosalie Lammle, President of the Kneehill Historical Society, with a cheque for $3420, in support of the 1st Village School Project at the Kneehill Historical Museum & Visitor Information Centre at Three Hills.

ATCO’s Team helped Society volunteers from start to finish and their assistance with the relocation of the Village School from downtown Three Hills to the Museum property has been outstanding. John and his team provided assistance with route planning, line lifting, advising, renovation (upgrading of electrical service to the main building and village school) and utilities connection (seamless, efficient, supportive).

Having reliable electrical service throughout the Project has been instrumental in advancing renovation, especially now that winter looms. Additionally this donation will go toward lighting the inside of the 1914 Village School, which-- will house a historical school room for classroom use, complete with artefacts, as well as provide a Visitor Information Centre. ATCO’s support is helping to provide this community with facilities for the next century.
