The first to visit

Museum First Visitor

Life-long benefactor of the Kneehill Historical Museum, Ethel Jasman-Skokowski, was the first to use the persons-with-disabilities ramp into the Village School last week and to ring the school bell. Her support combined with a grant of $7,000 from Alberta Tourism & Culture and the skill of local trades people gives community access to the recently restored Museum addition, to be officially opened to the public next June. Ruth Wright, a Historical Society director and enthusiastic guide, took Ethel up the ramp and through the building.
