Kneehill County COVID-19 Update #4

Kneehill Logo 2019

Kneehill County continues to take every precaution to ensure the health and safety of our staff and residents. We have implemented Business Continuity processes and protocols to maintain essential services during the COVID-19 pandemic.

While Kneehill County is working to maintain all of our services, residents may experience service level disruptions, changes in the delivery of certain services, and meeting and event cancellations as a result of the virus and the developing situation. Essential services, such as road, water and fire services, will not be disrupted.

Kneehill County’s offices remain CLOSED to the public until further notice.

Staff are available during regular business hours to assist residents. Please call 403-443-5541 between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, for service over the phone, or if you need help accessing Kneehill County services online.

Kneehill County’s Planning Department is working to provide a continued level of service for residents, and are happy to take planning questions over the phone, or through email.

Though not all applications can be processed at this time, staff will continue to assist wherever possible. Safety Codes permits will still be accepted. Subdivisions already approved and set to expire within the next 6 months have been granted an automatic 6-month extension.

Please note additional changes to Kneehill County services and events, as a precaution due to COVID-19:

• The Land Use Bylaw Open House, scheduled for April 2, 2020, has been postponed.

(Residents can still have their say—visit www.kneehillcounty.com to view the proposed changes to the Land Use Bylaw, and submit your questions, comments or concerns by email.)
