RCMP investigate suspicious fires
Wednesday, August 18th, around 3 pm, the Three Hills Fire and Rescue responded to a call concerning a mobile home fire in the Prairie Bible Institute Student Trailer Court, north of the Best Western.
The firefighters arrived to find the trailer fully involved. They had the fire under control in about 30 minutes. No one was inside the home, and there were no injuries. The fire investigator arrived on scene to inspect the trailer. The cause of the fire was declared suspicious.

Wild Pink Yonder is here. The riders arrived in Acme on the evening of Tuesday, August 24th for the night. They enjoyed the festivities, and all the hard work volunteers put in to make them feel welcome.
Next stop, Linden campground on August 25th for a fundraising barbecue from 11am-1pm. They then will make their way to Three Hills for the Parade of Horses on Main Street at 3:30pm, followed by the Campus Carnival starting at 4:30 on Prairie Campus Courtyard.

Paul Touzin, Inuvik to Ottawa

 

His voyage begins on the most northern road in Canada, along the Dempster Highway. Paul Touzin flies from his home in Ottawa, Ontario to an airport in Inuvik, Northwest Territories, with nothing but his bicycle and a few supplies.
Don't be too quick to judge. The man of 50-something is nothing short of prepared and experienced.
