Elks cut ribbon on new elevator

 

The need for an elevator to transport people from the main floor of Trochu's Hall to the basement and back was brought to the attention of the local Elks association about three years ago. The Elks are always contributing to the community and decided to take on the project.
On Dec. 19, 2010, a ribbon-cutting took place and a number of folk took the opportunity to test out the easy way to the basement and back.

As a result of the generous support of the community, the Here Comes Santa Cause event earlier this month was a big success, thanks to organizers from the Three Hills Chamber of Commerce. The money raised was split between three local groups, equivalent to $2,784.50 each. The groups are: Three Hills Playschool, which will put the money toward much needed flooring upgrades, The Three Hills Band Parent Association, who will use the funds to help with the expense of a trip to Ottawa, and the Three

A Big Thank You!
Three Hills Victim Services Association would like to say a special Thank You to Agro Trochu, Earl Hastie, Cst. Taylor and Cst. Adair of the Three Hills RCMP. At last June's Steak and Lobsterfest fundraiser in Trochu, Agro Trochu donated the use of a John Deere combine during harvest with Cst. Taylor and Cst. Adair volunteering their time to run the machine and drive trucks. Earl Hasty purchased the package raising $2,600.00 for Victim Services! Thanks to everyone
