Prairie School of Mission Aviation was visited by three representatives from the Spokane Turbine Center on Tuesday, September 7th. They flew in on the Quest Kodiak airplane to promote it to the students and staff at Prairie. Kodiak's are the future of mission flights because of advanced equipment and training technology, and affordable fuel. Kneehill County residents turned out to voice their opinions on Integrated Community Sustainability Plan meetings held in Huxley and Swalwell last week.
An Integrated Community Sustainability Plan (ICSP) is a Federal and Provincial initiative that encourages municipalities to indentify long-term community objectives and goals. Those goals and objectives would then be evaluated using five factors or "pillars". The five pillars are Environmental, Economical, Social, Cultural and Governance.

Three Hills welcomes Cst. Bart Warner

 

Three Hills RCMP Detachment welcomes Constable, Bart Warner, accompanied by his wife and three children. Originally from Calgary, Cst. Warner started his career three years ago in Ste Rose Du Lac, Manitoba, as a School Resource Officer. He taught Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.), dealt with bullying, and aboriginal policing.
