A group of ladies and gentlemen from Prairie Tabernacle Church gathered at the Seniors Outreach to fill shoe boxes. Everyone brought an abundance of toys, and the group was able to fill 90 boxes for Operation Christmas Child. They continued the good deed with a group from Bethel Church, filling 80 boxes. People from Chateau Three Hills put together 39 shoeboxes. A big thank you to all who helped, and donated to needy children around the world.

As your Member of Parliament, I was very pleased with the huge crowds that turned out on Remembrance Day in communities large and small all across our riding.  Throughout Veterans' Week, it is good to see people paying homage to Canada's military in our schools, places of worship, at clubs, meetings, and even 'on the job'.

Servus Credit Union contributed to a better world for the residents of Three Hills with a $10,000 donation to the community's Spray Park. Marlene Mullinger, Servus Branch Manager presented the funds to Norm Campion of the Town of Three Hills on Tuesday, November 2, 2010.
