Jim Wright retires from Three Hills Golf Club

 

The Three Hills Golf Club is in the midst of change. After 18 years of managing the Golf Course in Three Hills, Jim Wright has decided to retire.
Jim came to the Golf Club in 1993, and has been a driving force for much of the growth and improvement the Club has undergone since its inception in 1981. After a lengthy career with AGT, and a stint serving the agriculture sector, Jim brought his experience to the Golf Course, and this ballooned into a second career that may have surprised even Ji

Legion turns 80

Legionnaires and community members came out to the ComUnity Drop In Center November 26 to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the Three Hills Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion #92. Mayor Tim Shearlaw presented members of the Legion with a plaque from Legion Command to commemorate the occasion. Cherry Lane Housing Development has something for everyone

 

If you look at an aerial picture of the Town of Three Hills from a few years ago, you will not see the new fire hall, a new subdivision development in the south east, the expansion in the north east, or the most recent addition, Cherry Lane Housing Development, east of the Three Hills School.

The Three Hills Town Council met with Endeavor Charter Accountants for a presentation of the 2009 financial statements. The statements are now available on the town's web site.
After they were finished, the meeting moved into Councillor and Management Reports, which were short and sweet, and then onto the Requests for Decision.
BCP Development was given a new completion date of May 31, 2011, for their Phase 3 - Stage 1 Development, and approval for the continued issuance of building permits.
