Trochu’s Canada 150 Celebration Weekend a smashing success

Trochu’s Canada 150 Celebration Weekend started Friday, June 30 with a free swim at the Trochu Swimming Pool and a Movie in the Park at 10:00 p.m.

Saturday started off with the Trochu Elks #168 Breakfast that catered to 640 people.

The parade began at 11:00 a.m. The theme this year was Canada 150 or Trochu Elks #168 90 years of service.

BCP marks 25th Anniversary and Grand Opening of new facility

BCP, a Three Hills-based construction company, took some time out of their working day, on Thursday, June 29, to celebrate their 25th Anniversary and the Grand Opening of their new Three Hills facility.

First School moved to Kneehill Museum

What was built as the First School in the Village of Three Hills, in 1914, has now been moved to its final resting place at the Kneehill Museum, in Three Hills.

The building was used as a school until phase one of the “new brick school” was opened in 1920. The ‘Ole Town Hall” as it has been called for a number of years, once sat on the Three Hills School track.
