For 62 years, Prairie Tabernacle Congregation has functioned without owning its own building, but that is about to change. Prairie College named Top Christian Workplace

In 2016 Prairie College was recognized as a top Christian workplace, by the Best Christian Workplaces Institute, after having all employees fill out an in-depth survey detailing their levels of satisfaction with the College. Recently the school obtained an even higher score, as a top Christian Workplace for 2018.

UPDATED: Emergency crews battle afternoon grass fire


With the clean up of floods barely over, Carbon Fire Department got an unexpected and early start to its fire season when they were dispatched to a grass/field fire on Tuesday, May 1 at around 2:20 p.m. The fire began a mile east of Hwy 21, at township Road 30-0. Prairie College celebrates 2018 Commencement

Prairie College celebrated their 2018 Commencement on April 28, 2018 at the Rick Down Athletic Centre.

There were 81 graduates in this year’s class with 69 participating in the graduation ceremony.

Charlene Coles, Alumnus, played the Processional, “Pomp and Circumstance” as the grads entered the took their place on the platform. As always, President Mark Maxwell offered greetings, welcomed special guests and made announcements.
