He married Vera Boese in 1954 and took over his fathers dairy and grain farm. He actively farmed it for 6 years during which two daughters and three sons were born. Terence moved his family to Calgary in 1960 to further his education at Mount Royal College. They lived there for two years, then moved back to the farm. Two more daughters were born. He started his accounting business, Morning Star Consultants in the 1980's and retired in 1997. Dad continued to live on the farm until 2004 when he and Vera bought a house in Linden. Dad will be remembered for many things: his work ethic, his leadership in his family, community, and church; his volunteer work on the Kneehill Ambulance; teaching first aid; his love of history, philosophy, reading , writing, and good , meaningful conversation. He spent much time playing with his children and grandchildren, hiking, biking, camping. Everything that he did was tempered by his faith in God and his personal relationship and love for Jesus.
