John and Audrey lived at Halkirk and Okotoks before buying their farm at Three Hills in 1956. John thoroughly enjoyed the farm life, he was very proud that their children were born and raised there. In 1981 Audrey , John & youngest son Brian moved to Wanham where they bought a farm and resided for 7 years. John and Audrey retired in 1988 moving back to Olds. Family was of the utmost importance to John.
