TULLOCK, Ruby

Tullock

TULLOCK - Ruby was born April 15, 1920, to Annie and Norman Simpson, the middle daughter of three girls, eldest sister Gwen, youngest sister Mona. She was a devoted daughter who loved her parents dearly. Theirs was a hard life, the depression and war-torn England, but a bright note was her marriage to George Tullock in 1939. Their son Ron was born the following year. Times were difficult in England, so in the mid 50's they made Canada their home. Their family was complete when Ruby's parents joined them with her beloved nice Gwen. Ruby and George moved to the West, joining her Mum, Dad, Gwen and her husband Jim Coles, a very difficult decision leaving behind Sheree and Mark, her grandchildren. She loved them dearly, telling me once, I love them so much it hurts. Ruby visited Toronto on many occasions, one being the christening of her first great grandchild, Aidan. Ruby loved all her great grandchildren, Aidan, Jessie, Mason, and Liam, and her nice Lisa and nephew Jamie and their children Alexander and Peyton. Ruby was very interested in sports and took a very big interest in all the activities the children played. For 20 years Ruby has called Linden her home, she loved Linden and all the people. With a grateful heart her family thank you for your kindness, especially Corrine and Mike, who she spoke very fondly off, and everyone at the Linden Nursing Home, Our grateful thanks. God Bless Mum...We love you. Funeral services were held March 30, 2011 at Linden Nursing Home with interment at Linden Cemetery.
