Robert William Naylor - Born November 23, 1952, Rob died after a brief and unexpected illness on September 14, 2010 in the Red Deer Regional Hospital Center. Rob is survived by his wife of 23 years, Pamela; Daughters, Melissa (Dan) Kanderka and Amanda (Dave) Olson; Sons Adam Naylor, Chris (Patricia) and Lucas Barr; Grandchildren, Kyle, Josh and Ryan Kanderka, Megan, Emily, Riley Olson and Sophia Barr; Sister, Mary (Gary) Alexander; Stepsister Linda Watson; Stepbrothers, Gary (Irene) and Bruce (Rhonda) Batty, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his loving parents, Robert Naylor, Betty (Naylor) Batty, and stepfather Bob Batty. Rob was born in Toronto, Ontario and spent his childhood in Bolton, Ontario. He later moved west and graduated from high school in Airdrie, and achieved his Bachelor of Education from the University of Calgary in 1975. He began his career in Consort, AB and later moved to Three Hills in 1981 to continue what he did best, enrich his students lives with guidance, coaching, and heartfelt caring. Rob retired after 34 years of teaching to enjoy spending more time with his family. He also served the community as town counselor and deputy mayor. A Memorial Service was held in Three Hills Centennial Place, Three Hills, AB at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 18, 2010. Memorial donations can be made to the Alberta Lung Association.
