Everyone enjoyed her delicious pies, even the kids happy were happy to pick saskatoons for a slice. Marguerite was born in Acme, Alberta with a younger brother, Ross (Marie) Purvis of Calgary, moved to Three Hills where she met Wilfred and settled down. She was a sharp bridge player, frequently setting up tables for card nights with friends. A good cup of coffee was always within reach, often sharing one or two with neighbourhood ladies, fellow Kinettes and Birthday Club members, actively served with IODE and Three Hills Library board. Marguerite valued travel and was always eager to see new places. A memorable 6 week vacation was showing the girls all of Canada. A private family gathering and internment will be held at a later date. If desired, a memorial tribute can be made to a charity of your choice.
