He will be dearly missed by his wife Joanne (Joan) of sixty-five years, four sons, Larry (Sherry) from Calgary, Allen (Diana) from Acme, Kenneth (Beverley) from Australia and Murray (Ingrid) from Acme, seven grandchildren, Kelly, Kristina, Stephen, Greg, Breanne, Shawn and Ryan, one step grandson, David, six great grandchildren, Riley, Kaitlyn, Henry, Ethan, Claire and Carson, two brothers in Denmark and many nephews and nieces both here and in Denmark. At the age of eighteen, Lars immigrated to Canada and worked for an uncle in Scepter, Saskatchewan for five years. After they were married, they they spent two years in Calgary and then bought a farm by Carstairs where they lived for three years. In February, 1951, Lars and Joan moved to the Acme area where they resided for over fifty years. Lars was a very kind, gentle and soft-spoken man.
