Ethel Louise Howlett (Gibbons), cherished wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, age 78, of Stettler, Alberta quietly passed surrounded by her family on August 29, 2019. Irma was born on MacKay family farm near Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia on March 28, 1926, the eldest child of H. Guy and Gladys (Spares) MacKay. Mary Scheibler passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Health Care Centre on July 13, 2019 at the age of 87. She was born August 15, 1931, on a small rural farm near Wakaw, Saskatchewan and lived there until 1946 when her family moved to a farm outside Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan.
