SCHLERETH, Joseph (Don)

Don was born August 18,1925, the fifth child of Peter Schlereth and Agnes Rosie Gagne of Rich Valley, Alberta. Don lived on the mixed family farm, managing it for several years. Don joined the army and was stationed in Korea in 1950 and 1951. Don met Leslie Garriock in Gunn, Alberta and on March 24, 1964 they were wed. Don and Leslie lived in Onoway then to Edmonton where Don worked as a trucker. Don, Leslie & family next moved to Trochu after two years in town Don along with Albert Hannah

ADAMS, Dr. Bruce Alden

DR. BRUCE ALDEN ADAMS, a career missionary with SIM International in Ethiopia who managed bookstores, trained church leaders, supervised the translation and typesetting of the entire Bible into the Wolaitta language, developed literacy programs, supervised famine relief work, and supported world-wide translation projects, passed on April 19, 2018. Robert [Bob] Boake passed away peacefully in his home on April 16 at the age of 81. Bob was born on December 1, 1936, the 10th child of EJC and Helena (Loewen) Boake's 11 children. Donna Louise Jackson (Tresierra) went to Heaven March 29, 2018 after a yearlong fight with pancreatic cancer. Born to Wayne and Carole Tresierra in Williams Lake, BC October 4, 1963, she was predeceased by a sister Judy Anne who died at an early age.
