April 12, 1931 - January 13, 2017~It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Albert Reder. After a lengthy battle against cancer he passed away peacefully in his sleep the morning of January 13th. He is survived by his wife Judy Reder. KOWALCZYK, John

John passed away peacefully on January 5, 2017 at age 92. He was born in Poland in 1924 to Stanislaw and Stanislawa Kowalczyk and grew up on a farm. At age fourteen, before WW2, John was taken prisoner to work as a farm laborer. He escaped to England during the war and, at the end of the war, chose to come to Canada.
