Richard (Dick) Vickery was born on August 10th, 1921 in Calgary, Alberta to Ernest and Gertrude Vickery.The family headed north in 1919 to lay claim to their farm through the Soldier’s Settlement Board at Huxley.Dad attended Hogadone School which was located 1.5 miles north of the Vickery farm. Margit Nielsen was born April 26, 1929 in Denmark. She passed away Friday, January 4, 2019, in Three Hills, Alberta. Margit was predeceased by her loving husband Viktor in November 2016. Margit is survived by her three children: Inger (Don Smith), Bent (Jeanette Nielsen), and Hanne (Earl Paget). Ray Carter passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019 as a result of a sudden heart attack. Ray's family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Three Hills Health Care Centre for all their efforts to save Ray's life.
