GORMAN, Elizabeth

May 2, 1928 – June 19, 2020

Elizabeth was born May 2, 1928 to Wilfred and Hilda Hynes in London, England. Her father was a librarian and Elizabeth along with her two older sisters and parents lived above the library. It is not a surprise that Elizabeth had ready access to books and loved to read. She also became a avid collector of books, a practise she carried on up to her passing.

During World WII, Elizabeth was witness to the bombing of London and to the “Battle of Britain”

ADAM, Gary Richard

Gary Richard Adam passed away peacefully June 13 2020 at the age of 74 after losing his battle with cancer. Gary was born in Trochu, Alberta on February 24, 1946 in Trochu and was the eldest son of Richard and Margaret Adam. Gary attended school in Trochu until his graduation and then attended University of Alberta and SAIT before moving home to farm and raise cattle with his dad. Shirley was born on April 2, 1938 in Peace River, Alberta to Jack and Margaret Ross. GREIG, James Stuart Henry

James Stuart Henry Greig was born November 15, 1939 in Vermilion, Alberta and passed away peacefully on June 25, 2020 in Stettler, Alberta. Born to Robert and Gwen Greig, oldest of three sons. Jim’s farming career began in his early years at Trochu with his dad. They had a mixed farming operation, cattle, and grain.
