Three Hills Soccer Association kicks off 2019 season

Soccer season got off to a slow start this year with the cold weather and snow. Teams started practicing during spring break and our first game was that Wednesday, April 24 with our U15 girls playing Carstairs. Although they fought hard they were not able to win.

Division 3 Alberta Volleyball Provincial Champs

The Kneehill Pilots U15 Club Volleyball team brought back a gold medal from the Division 3 Alberta Volleyball Provincial Championships in Calgary after participating on the May 4/5 weekend. The team is comprised of eight girls from five different schools in the communities of Three Hills, Linden, Carbon, Drumheller, and Olds. Archery Open House set for Saturday, May 11

Three surveys later and the responses confirmed that the Carbon Agriculture Society has the interest and commitment of about 30 people to move forward on opening an archery range inside the Carbon Curling Rink during its off season.

An open house event, to include demonstrations will be held on Saturday, May 11 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Three Hills School Junior High Badminton team showed an outstanding performance at the South Central Zone Badminton Championships. The team played exceptionally well and came home as the 2J South Central Zone Champions! Special congratulations to Devon Hagel for his 4th place finish in Grade 8 Boys Singles, Annika Ferguson and Dane Richardson for their 4th place finish in Grade 9 Mixed Doubles, and to Lola Ferguson and Quinn Richardson for their silver medal in Grade 7 Mixed Doubles.
