Prairie College hosts Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference Showcase Game

Prairie College hosted an ACAC (Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference) Showcase Game at the Rick Down Athletic Centre on Tuesday September 19.

This saw the Ambrose University College Men's Basketball team going against the St. Mary's Lightning team.

Acts Gym sets records at The Grind

On Saturday, August 19, athletes representing Acts Gym, in Three Hills, travelled to Medicine Hat to compete in The Grind Annual Power-lifting Competition. Acts Gym owner, Jason Thompson, was very pleased with everyone who competed. “Considering that this was the first competition for some of the lifters, they did very well.” Jason set National records in his age/weight category with a 555lb squat and a 650lb deadlift, as well as a record for overall total.
