Acme Redmen Avery Bates & Edan Wade make Team Alberta

Two Acme High School athletes were among the select few chosen to make Team Alberta Volleyball this summer.

Edan & Avery, both entering their grade 11 year at Acme High School were selected through an invitation process that began back in January 2018.

Three Hills Thrashers host training camp

The Three Hills Thrashers Junior B hockey club hosted their tryouts last week at the Three Hills Centennial Place Arena.

A total of 31 young men, eager to play for the Junior B squad worked under the direction of head coach Wayne Sharp and his staff. Included among the hopefuls were 10 returning veterans from last year’s team, as well as a good group of local prospects. Three goalies were in camp, including returning netminder Alex Jones. Former 49ers bring home the Canadian National Oldtimer’s Baseball Championship

Former Three Hills 49ers Baseball teammates Norm Campion and Blair Hanna brought home the Canadian National Oldtimer’s Baseball Championship played in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, August 3-6, 2018.

Norm and Blair were members of the Three Hills 49ers Baseball Team when they won the Rockyview Baseball League Championships in 1985 and 1986 and they’re still going strong.
