Three Hills Royals Sr. Boys Basketball team claim gold at the Battle of the Badlands

Congratulations the the Three Hills Royals Sr. Boys Basketball team and their first place finish at the Battle of the Badlands in Drumheller. The team had tight games throughout the weekend with a five point victory over Acme in their semi-final and a three point victory over Banff in the final. Well done Royals! Jeff Bauer rink wins 2018 Three Hills Farmers Open Bonspiel

The annual Three Hills Farmers Open Bonspiel was a resounding success last week as twenty-eight teams from around the county competed at the Three Hills Curling Club rink.

The winners in the highly competitive field were Torrington's Jeff Bauer rink (A Event), Mike Frolek's rink from Three Hills (B Event), the Derek Krywcun rink of Rumsey (C Event) and the Dan McArthur rink of Trochu (D Event).

More than 50 sponsors donated a great array of prizes for the top four teams in each event.

Carter Conway to represent Thrashers at the Heritage Junior B League All-Star game

Last Tuesday, the Thrashers travelled to Stettler to face-off against the Lightning. The home team struck twice in the opening period to get out to the early lead. Early in the second period, Connor Raddis’ goal put Three Hills on the board but only 29 seconds later, the Lightning replied to restore the two goal lead.
