Three Hills Mini Soccer wraps up season

Three Hills Mini Soccer wrapped up its biggest ever season on Wednesday, June 16. One hundred and eight kids signed up to play this year, making up four teams for each of three levels, U6, U8, and U10. Thankfully, the rain held off and it was a perfect evening for soccer at the PCA fields, with not even any mosquitoes in attendance!
The U8 and U10 teams held playoff games, with two of the U10 teams (Yellow and Green) going to a shoot out. U10 Green came out on top.   Each team played two half-hour games, and the evening wrapped up with medals being handed out to all the kids. Subway provided cookies for everyone and IGA provided juice.  Striker the Wolf was also at the event, cheering on the kids as they played.
Three Hills Soccer Association wants to say a huge thank you to all of the coaches who volunteered this year. We simply could not run the program without you! Thank you as well to Laura Ewert, for her help in organizing the teams and the coaches, and helping during the season with other things as well. We hope to see all of you back for the 2011 season!
