THSA had another busy week of soccer. Our U19 girls game was postponed on Monday due to injuries on the other team. Our U13 boys game was also postponed on Thursday due to weather.

Our U11 boys played in Irricana on Monday. They played a fantastic game and came close to winning but ended up being defeated by 5-4. Taylor Nine played a great game in goal. After being down 4-1, the forwards including Ezra Stahl and Cole Wiebe played hard and helped us come from behind to almost tie the score.

U17/U19 Boys had a busy week with two games. Our away game in Drumheller was a tough game and we lost. On Wednesday, we hosted Didsbury. The team is really coming together and played so well as a team. Every player played hard and played well. Dylan Hyshka, Ethan Cymbaluk and Chris Brisbin helped in advancing the ball and keeping it in the opposition end field. Shun Mimoto made many good defensive plays while Yeseung Lee kept all shots on goal out of the net. Goals were made by Henry Wu, Deyem Lansink, Carter DeBruyn and Michael Ewert with a final score of 5-0.

The U9A had a strong showing in Linden Tuesday night, coming away with a victory. Nicholas Collins and Lennox Rempel had strong positional play. Aubrie Toews and Anna Stahl got their first goals of the year and Olivia Murtagh-Moores also made it on the scoring sheet. Overall a great team performance on a hot night.

The Three Hills U9B team was on the road last Tuesday playing their first away game in Irricana. Kiarra Hildebrandt positioned herself in the right place at the right time and opened the scoring for Three Hills. Ellie Reimer played an outstandingly game both defensively and offensively and she scored the team’s second goal. Ethan Mottus booted one last the Irricana goalie for the team’s final goal of the game. In the end the score was 6-3 for Irricana.

On that same night the U13 girls had a home game against the Olds A team. They won 3-2 with Salem Stahl scoring the goals. It was a fantastic game played by all the girls with Amiyah Mal and Hayley Reeds assisting in the goals that won the game!
