The Lady Pilots basketball team and the Futsal teams were at Millar College on the weekend Friday night the Pilots basketball team were handed their first loss of the season 52-50 at the hands of the Edge. According to head coach Pam Fraser, “Friday night Millar came out very strong against us. They had a phenomenal game and we could not keep up with them. Saturday we were focused and motivated to drive back to Alberta with a win under our belt. Every loose ball had a pilot diving after it, our shots dropped, we adjusted to their speed and we came away with a 74-38 win”. On Saturday night, leading PAC point getter Sarah Harken poured in 25 points and Nicole Bublitz and Sierra Nelson were in double figures as well

The Pilots next game is at home Thursday March 21 when Burman will be in town for a 6 PM game then will close out the regular season at home vs Briercrest March 22-23.
