Trochu White Sox Pee Wee 'A' team wins Provincials

Trochu was busy with lots of baseball for the July 21-23/17 weekend with eight teams competing in the Pee Wee A Tier 1 tournament.

Friday and Saturday saw full days of baseball, after round robin play the four teams that emerged to semi finals were, Drumheller vs Westlock, and Trochu vs Mayerthorpe.

Trochu White Sox to host Pee Wee ‘A’ and Bantam ‘A’  Baseball Provincials

The Trochu White Sox, Pee Wee ‘A’ baseball team have been given the opportunity, at the last minute, to host the 2017 Provincial Championships.

On short notice they have put together the schedule and will be hosting the Tournament this weekend, July 21-23.

This will see teams coming in from Clive, Drumheller, Mayerthorpe, St. Paul, and Westlock, Alberta, and from BC, the “North Peace Black Sox. (Ft. St. John,) and Dawson Creek.

Three Hills Gymnastics Club receives $5,000 donation from Three Hills Elks #190

The Three Hills Elks #190 are proud to make a donation to the Three Hills Gymnastics Club of $5000 to update some of the club’s mats, as well as some team practice shirts for the competitive team. The Elks are a non profit service club in Three Hills, that raise funds for families in need, as well as work with other local clubs or societies to better Three Hills. The Elks has been around for 89 years in town and have raised almost $300,000 in the past five years for the people of Three Hi
