Jim Peterson Rink wins 2010 Acme Mens Cash Bonspiel
The team of Jim Peterson, Don Summersgill, Norm and Tim Keim won the 2010 Acme Mens Cash Bonspiel the weekend of Dec. 7-11.
There were 18 teams, including 12 teams from Acme's regular mens square draw, two teams from Calgary and Irricana, and a team from Carbon and Strathmore. Leader of the Pack

At the Calgary Kart Racing Club's banquet held in November, Derrick Lorraine, driver of the Bumper to Bumper PCR kart was presented with the trophy for Rookie of the Year. This award is presented to the first year driver who finishes with the most points at the end of the season. Derrick was able to win this honor by consistently finishing well in all 12 of the Championship points races, with no mechanical trouble or accidents. Jonathon Heer entered the tournament at Walt Disney World Resort, Orlando, Florida, September 27 to October 1, 2010, and was successful in winning the Champion Division for 2010. 210 golfers from 14 countries competed at the combined 20th W.A.L.G. and 75th N.A.L.G.- U.S.A. Championship. The 72-Hole Championship was played on Disney's Magnolia Golf Course & Disney's Palm Course, which are host courses for the PGA Children's Miracle Network Classic.
