We’re into the last half of summer 2019 but there is still lots to do for all ages.

KidzTown begins its 6th year with a new format at Anderson Park in Three Hills. It will operate Tuesdays and Thursdays each week. The Grand Finale will be held on Thursday, August 22. KidzTown is open to all ages free of charge. It runs from 6:30 to 8 pm and features music, puppets, drama, face painting, glitter tattoos, balloon animals, giant games, prizes and more. The August 22 Finale will feature bouncie castles and a free barbeque for everyone.

Kneehill County is celebrating its 75th Anniversary this year and in doing so they are hosting a Discovery Fair at the Trochu Community Centre on August 12 from 5 pm to 8 pm. Enjoy door prizes, free barbeque supper, fun-filled kids activities, interactive demonstrations and project and service information.

Head to Horseshoe Canyon on Saturday, August 17 for the Growing Kneehill County Market from 10 am to 4 pm. This event features local producers and artisans as well as a Tyrrell Museum fossil tooth, face painting, live music and food trucks. The Long Table dinner is sold out. For more information, go to
