Autumn is officially here and with it the equinox. Yes, I have done what I do every year at this time. I have an egg standing on end on my cupboard.
The Military Whist group doesn't wait for the equinox to play, they do it every week. On Sept. 10, those highest on the tree top were Elizabeth Gorman, Glen Johnson, John Tullikopf, and Bonnie Richardson. Ruth Andrews has enjoyed a visit from her niece, Laurie King, of Smith Falls, Ontario. Laurie has two sons in Red Deer. This brings her out west on occasion.
