No Shoes, No Problem

Kay Brown of New York City entered the subway and noticed a woman completely barefoot. Without second thought, she asked the woman’s size and when she said 7, Kay took off her shoes and handed them to the woman. She said, “So, I walked six blocks home in socks, getting strange looks and comments made about me. But now she’s able to wear a pair of shoes each day and suffer a little less.” Thank you, Kay, for showing us humanity is real and thriving.”

We are in a time period when this type of help, thoughtfulness, and encouragement is much appreciated. Selflessness is sometimes not so easy, however, the opposite (selfishness) is too costly.
