Under the direction of President Bruce Campbell, the Trochu Legion #98 led a celebration of remembrance at the Cenotaph, despite the coldest Remembrance Day in 29 years. TOPS Chapter AB 2833 Trochu hosted a very successful Fall Rally September 27, 2014 at the Baptist Fellowship Centre with 2011 TOPS members registered. Men and ladies travelled from Calgary, Cochrane and cities and towns in between with Trochu being the furthest north east Chapter. We enjoyed interesting speakers, several entertaining skits and many great draws donated by many local businesses. Trochu residents extend their sympathy on the death of Anne Leung Sept. 17. Nelson and Anne had the Peking Cafe from 1974-91 when they retired to Calgary. Sons Kin and James had their schooling at TroVal and are still very close with their schoolmates. The funeral will be held September 29 in Calgary.
