It seems that someone in the community has been spreading a rumour that the Trochu & District Inter Church Food Bank (aka Trochu Food Bank) has been closed.

As long as I have been associated with The Trochu Food Bank (8.5 years), it has never been closed. If someone in our area is in need of food, that person can call the Trochu Town office (403-442-3085), and the staff will contact us.

I had the misfortune of a fall just before Easter which resulted in some bleeding, not wanting to be a burden I waited until Monday to contact the clinic, I was told by Chris the nurse practitioner to immediately go to the lab for blood work. If it were not for the collective focus of our society being on COVID-19 there is another event that would surely be prominent at this time. It is the 2nd year anniversary of the Humboldt Bus Crash and injured Humboldt Bronco Ryan Straschnitzki has launched a lawsuit against all parties responsible for that 2018 crash.
