IF you are in favour of front yard garbage Pickup!
Over 25% of town residents have NO choice regarding front curbside garbage pick up. Simply because we have no alleys. And we have no problems with it either.
Before I even begin to enumerate the advantages of the curbside pick-up let me make one very obvious observation.
The best possible way to "keep our streets clean and as uncluttered as possible of garbage bags"...AND free from garbage strewn about because animals have ripped

Have you noticed the Bold print Jab at our Town Council  in the capital under Town Of Trochu?
It reads Back alley pick up in for ALL Trochu Residence. WOW! No wonder they always do so well in the Town Beautification contest. They may as well add "It's hard to fix stupid ".
But let's try, Vote NO on September 7th...Amen.

Dear Community;
It is hard to imagine that at the end of this week we will be moving away from this incredible community.

I noted your article in the Aug 4/11 edition of The Capital regarding the recent Trochu School Reunion.
May I add to that story that in conjunction with that Reunion, the Classes of 1961, 1962, 1963 and 1964 raised over $18,000 for a multi-year $1500 per annun Scholarship Award to Trochu Grade 12 students, commencing with the 2011-2012 school year. The Award is estimated to last for in excess of 15 years.
