To the Editor;
Perhaps someone could explain to me why convicts are being chauffeured to visit family when they are incarcerated?
Two times in eight months Drumheller Corrections have had a guard overpowered while transporting an inmate to visit. No government employee comes to drive me "free" to visit my family. In the movies, people visit inmates with a telephone and window or across a table. When transporting inmates between prisons, two guards travel with the inmate and the inmate is locked

Many people probably ask themselves: What is going on with these protest marches?"
The protesters are unorganized and agitating against corporate greed and exorbitant money profits at the corporate levels, as well as displaying general dissatisfaction with government policies. The word "billion" rolls off announcers' tongues instead of the million we were used to. One billion is one thousand million, truly a staggering amount of anything, especially when it comes to money.

Dear Editor;
We have always known that the the town of Trochu was & is a special place to live. People volunteering, welcoming new people into the community, raising money for Cancer (Pinkest Little Town) or just lending a hand to those in need.
A great example of this was on September 26 when our motel (Dog Tired Inn) burnt. People not only showed up to watch our old hall succumb to the fire but mostly to help our residents.
