REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL~– JANITORIAL CONTRACTS~The Village of Linden is now accepting RFP's for janitorial services at the Linden Cultural Centre. The deadline to submit a proposal is Monday June 7th, 2010 at 4:30 p.m.~Requirements for the facility are:~1. Facility to be checked and cleaned as necessary immediately after each function booked through the Village of Linden Office;~2. Any cleaning time required beyond one (1) hour after any function is to be reported the next business day to the Village of Linden Office, with written particulars of the cleaning required;~3. To be invoiced on a monthly basis on the first business day after month end.~4. Contractor to supply all cleaning products required as part of quotation for services;~5. Two thorough cleanings of the facility are to be conducted yearly – one during the school Christmas break and the other during the school's summer break. This cleaning will include all floors, walls, baseboards, doors, equipment and appliances, carpet cleaning, refinishing of tiled floors, dusting and washing of cabinets and contents, cleaning of mats, wiping down of all chairs and tables, cleaning of seats and backs of chairs, and any other cleaning which is necessary to maintain the condition and appearance of the Cultural Centre;~6. Spot cleaning of carpeted areas is to be done as needed;~7. Contractor is responsible to maintain an accurate record of all bookings for the Cultural Centre made through the Village Office;~8. Contractor to supply all equipment required for janitorial, except the vacuum cleaner present at the site.
