CORMODE, H.D. ALEXANDER~April 15, 1940 - February 10, 2010~Alex died as quietly as he lived and is deeply missed by family and friends. His health had been declining in the last few years with diabetes, liver disease and poor eyesight but he enjoyed lawn bowling, curling, duplicate bridge, working in the garden, traveling and as always - listening to people and discussing farming, rocks, potash and anything and everything. Alex is survived by his wife of 45 years Janet and three children, Liisa, Art and Tom (Renee) and two gradchildren Teaghan and Georgia. He leaves three cousins, Judy (Gerry) Carvell, Lee (Mike) Hogan and Dick (Susan) Groundwater, with whom he dearly loved visiting. There will be a memorial service at the Acme United Church (Bennett Ave.) in Acme on July 8, 2010, 2 pm, after the committal of his ashes in the Acme Cemetery. 2j30p
