The Golden Hills Lodge held their “End of Summer (Parking Lot) Party” on Thursday, August 31. The party started off with BBQ hot dogs and grilled chicken at noon, and then further activities were held in the auditorium, due to the weather. A major feature of the “desserts” was to get in on the rhubarb and strawberry rhubarb pies that some of the residents had crafted two days earlier.
Live entertainment was provided by the “Reflections” consisting of Brad and Leveryne Green, of Red Deer. Friends and guests of Lodge residents were also present.
